Terms of Service

This Agreement governs your access to and use of the Nene Live application and related services (“Services”). If you do not agree, do not use the Services.

1. Special Notices

This Nene Live Platform User Agreement (“Agreement”) governs your access to and use of the Nene Live mobile application and related services (collectively, the “Services”). The Services include live streaming, voice/video interactions, social features, chat, content discovery, and virtual gifting.

You (“you” or “User”) are one party to this Agreement. The other party is TRIVIO TECHNOLOGIES PRIVATE LIMITED (“Nene Live”, “we”, “us”, “our”). The parties are collectively referred to as the “Parties”.

By downloading, accessing, registering for, or using the Services, or by clicking “Sign Up” / “Agree”, you confirm that you have read, understood, and agree to be bound by this Agreement.

We may update this Agreement from time to time. The updated version will be posted on this page with a revised date. By continuing to use the Services after changes become effective, you agree to the updated Agreement.

2. Services Content & Changes

2.1 Service Updates

We may change, update, suspend, or discontinue any part of the Services at any time, with or without notice, including features, content availability, and technical requirements.

2.2 Maintenance

The Services may be temporarily unavailable due to scheduled or unscheduled maintenance, upgrades, or emergencies. We will try to provide notice where reasonably possible.

2.3 No Guarantee

We do not guarantee that the Services will be uninterrupted, secure, or error-free, or that any specific feature will remain available.

3. Privacy

Your use of the Services is also subject to our Privacy Policy, which explains how we collect and process personal information. Please review our Privacy Policy at: Privacy Policy.

4. Account Registration & Security

4.1 Account Information

You may be required to create an account to use certain features. You agree to provide accurate information and keep it updated. You must not impersonate others or misrepresent your identity.

4.2 Security

You are responsible for safeguarding your account, password, and login credentials. All activities performed through your account are deemed to be performed by you. Notify us immediately if you suspect unauthorized access.

4.3 One Person / One Account (Optional)

We may limit the number of accounts per person/device and may require verification for safety, compliance, or anti-fraud purposes.

5. Eligibility, Age & Restricted Regions

5.1 Age Requirements

You must be at least 18 years old (or the age of majority in your jurisdiction) to use the Services. Age Verification: We may require users to verify their age through government-issued ID, facial recognition, or other verification methods before accessing certain features.

5.2 Restricted Users / Regions

You may not use the Services if you are prohibited by applicable laws, sanctions, or regulations. We may restrict or refuse service in certain regions or to certain entities to comply with legal requirements.

Important: You must not falsely claim that you have reached the minimum age or otherwise misrepresent eligibility.

6. Community Rules & Prohibited Conduct

You agree to use the Services lawfully and respectfully. You must not (including attempting to):

  • Post or stream illegal content, exploitative content, or content that violates applicable law.
  • Harass, threaten, hate-speech, bully, or abuse others.
  • Share sexual content involving minors or any child exploitation material (zero tolerance).
  • Solicit minors, engage in grooming, or exploit users.
  • Promote violence, self-harm, or dangerous behavior.
  • Publish private/confidential information of others (doxxing) or violate privacy rights.
  • Impersonate any person/entity or misrepresent affiliation.
  • Spam, scam, defraud, or run pyramid/financial fraud schemes.
  • Use bots, scraping, reverse engineering, or attempt to bypass security or moderation.
  • Upload malware or attempt unauthorized access to accounts/systems.
  • Infringe intellectual property rights (copyright/trademark).
  • Use the Services for unauthorized commercial activity without our written consent.

7. User Content & License

7.1 Your Content

“User Content” includes any text, images, audio, video, live streams, messages, comments, gifts-related content, and other materials you upload, stream, or otherwise make available through the Services. You remain responsible for your User Content and represent that you have all necessary rights to share it.

7.2 License to Nene Live

By creating, uploading, broadcasting, or sharing User Content, you grant Nene Live a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free, sublicensable, transferable license to host, store, use, reproduce, modify (for technical purposes), distribute, display, perform, stream, and promote your User Content in connection with operating, improving, marketing, and providing the Services, including across platforms and devices.

7.3 Recording & Replay

You acknowledge that live streams and related interactions may be recorded, stored, and replayed (where features allow), and may be reviewed for moderation, safety, legal compliance, and dispute resolution.

7.4 Retention After Deletion

Even if you delete User Content or your account, copies may remain in backups or logs for a period of time. We may retain certain information as required for legal compliance, fraud prevention, enforcement, and dispute resolution.

7.5 No Compensation

You agree that you are not entitled to any compensation, royalties, or fees for any use of User Content under this Agreement.

8. Moderation, Enforcement & Reporting

We have a zero-tolerance policy for objectionable content and abusive users. Content reported as objectionable will be reviewed within 24 hours, and users who violate these terms will be ejected/banned from the service.

Users can report content or accounts through in-app reporting tools. We may take action without notice when required for safety or legal reasons.

9. Virtual Items, Coins, Gifts & Payments

9.1 Virtual Items

The Services may include virtual items (such as coins, gifts, badges, subscriptions, or digital features). Virtual items have no cash value (unless explicitly required by applicable law) and are provided as a limited license for use within the Services.

9.2 Purchases

Purchases may be processed by platform providers (Google Play / Apple App Store) or authorized payment providers. We do not store full payment card details when purchases are processed by third parties.

9.3 No Refunds (Except Where Required)

Virtual item purchases are generally final and non-refundable, except where required by applicable law or the relevant store’s policies (Google Play / Apple App Store).

9.4 Fraud & Chargebacks

We may suspend or restrict accounts involved in suspicious activity, fraud, chargebacks, or violations related to payments.

10. Subscriptions

If the Services offer subscriptions:

  • Subscriptions may automatically renew unless canceled through your Google Play / Apple App Store account settings.
  • Pricing and billing cycle will be shown at the point of purchase.
  • Refunds are governed by applicable law and the store’s refund policies.

11. Intellectual Property Rights

The Services, including software, design, logos, trademarks, and content (excluding User Content) are owned by or licensed to Nene Live and are protected by intellectual property laws. You may not copy, modify, distribute, sell, lease, reverse engineer, or create derivative works from the Services except as permitted by law or with our written consent.

12. Third-Party Services & Links

The Services may contain links to third-party websites or integrate third-party SDKs/services (e.g., analytics, payments, login providers). We are not responsible for third-party services and your use of them may be governed by their own terms and policies.

13. Copyright / IP Complaints

If you believe content on Nene Live infringes your copyright or trademark, contact us with: (a) your identifying information, (b) details of the work claimed to be infringed, (c) the specific content/location in the app, and (d) a statement of good faith belief and authority.

14. Suspension, Termination & Account Deletion

We may suspend, restrict, or terminate your access to the Services if you violate this Agreement, applicable laws, or if we reasonably believe your activity may harm users, the platform, or third parties.

You may request account deletion through in-app settings or via our website at https://nenelive.com/delete-account (Click here). Some data may be retained as described in our Privacy Policy for compliance and security reasons.

15. Disclaimers

The Services are provided on an “AS IS” and “AS AVAILABLE” basis. To the maximum extent permitted by law, Nene Live disclaims all warranties, express or implied, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement.

16. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Nene Live and its affiliates, directors, employees, and partners will not be liable for: indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages; loss of profits; loss of data; or business interruption.

Where liability cannot be excluded, it will be limited to the minimum extent permitted by applicable law.

17. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Nene Live and its affiliates from any claims, liabilities, damages, losses, and expenses (including legal fees) arising from your use of the Services, your User Content, or your violation of this Agreement or law.

18. Governing Law & Disputes

This Agreement is governed by the laws of Pakistan, excluding conflict of law principles. Any disputes will be resolved in the courts of Pakistan, unless applicable law provides otherwise.

19. App Store / Google Play Additional Terms

19.1 Apple App Store (Required Clauses)

  • Acknowledgement: This Agreement is between you and Nene Live, not Apple. Apple is not responsible for the Services.
  • Scope of License: You may use the app on Apple-branded products you own/control, as permitted by Apple’s Media Services Terms and any Family Sharing rules.
  • Maintenance & Support: Nene Live is responsible for providing maintenance and support. Apple has no obligation to provide support services.
  • Warranty: If the app fails to conform to any applicable warranty, you may notify Apple; Apple may refund the purchase price (if any). To the maximum extent permitted by law, Apple has no other warranty obligation.
  • Product Claims: Nene Live, not Apple, is responsible for addressing claims related to the app (product liability, legal compliance, consumer protection).
  • Intellectual Property: In the event of any third-party claim that the app infringes IP rights, Nene Live is responsible, not Apple.
  • Legal Compliance: You represent you are not located in a country subject to U.S. Government embargo, and not listed on prohibited/restricted party lists, where applicable.
  • Third-Party Beneficiary: Apple and Apple’s subsidiaries are third-party beneficiaries of this Agreement and may enforce it against you.

19.2 Google Play

Your use of the Services through Google Play may also be subject to Google Play’s terms and policies. In-app purchases and subscriptions are handled according to Google Play billing rules where applicable.

20. Miscellaneous

20.1 Severability

If any provision of this Agreement is found invalid or unenforceable, the remaining provisions will remain in effect.

20.2 No Waiver

Our failure to enforce any right or provision does not constitute a waiver of such right or provision.

20.3 Entire Agreement

This Agreement, together with the Privacy Policy and any policies referenced herein, constitutes the entire agreement between you and Nene Live regarding the Services.

20.4 Language

If this Agreement is translated, the English version controls to the extent permitted by law unless local law requires otherwise.
